We were awarded two Silver Awards and four Bronze Awards for our ready meals at this prestigious bi-annual event held at the Lincolnshire Showground near Lincoln.
2005-2006 Best Producer and Retailer
The Tastes of Lincolnshire Award involved a mystery shopper paying three separate visits to our shop.
2005 Great Taste Awards
We won the Silver Award for our Pork and Apple Dinky's and the Bronze Award for our Steak and Kidney Pies. We are extremely proud of these awards as it was the first time we had entered the food trade’s equivalent of the 'Oscars'.
2004 Health and Hygiene Award
We were presented in the November with this award for consistently achieving very high standards of hygiene, in our premises and for the preparation of our products. YOUR FOOD! This award encompasses high standards for healthy food i.e. lean meat, low fat and low salt ready meals etc. We were awarded this by East Lindsey District Council and were presented with the award at a ceremony at Butlins in Skegness by Anthony Worrell Thompson, the celebratory chef. We were 1 of 5 winners out of 40 in the whole district.

2003 National Sausage and Pie Championships
Another great success for our products as we received one Gold Award, four Silver Awards and two Bronze Awards. This event was held at the G-Mex Centre in Manchester.

We were voted Spilsby’s Top Trader by the readers of the Lincolnshire Standard.

Simons of Spilsby were runners-up in National Magazine’s Country Living’s Top Foodshop awards.
1998 UK Top Shop Competition
Top Shop Awards in 1998 - 1999. We were runners-up in the United Kingdom Top Shop (Butcher’s Shop) awards which were held at the Dorchester Hotel, London.

We won two Gold Medals and four Silver Medals at this tri-annual event which is held at Slavacto, Utrecht, Holland.
1996 Enterprise Award
In 1996 Simons of Spilsby Butchers won a Small Business Enterprise Award. This award is sponsored by Lincolnshire County Council and the presentation was held at the then new University of Lincoln.
1994 Slavacto International Butchers Competition in Holland
In 1994, our first year of trading, Simons of Spilsby Butchers won a Gold and Silver Medal for our quality products at the International Butchers competition held for the meat trade in Utrecht, Holland.
